Google just announced that the company has implemented improvements to keep ads for counterfeit products out of AdSense, Google's advertising network. This shows that Google is fulfilling on its commitment to the US government to help stop the sale of counterfeit goods on the Internet.

We think that Google was already doing a very good job with anti-counterfeiting efforts before implementing these improvements. InkSure has created several AdSense ads that use the phrases "counterfeit" or "fake product" in order to demonstrate that we are a company that makes anti-counterfeiting technologies to combat these problems. Google's algorithm picked up on these phrases and informed us that our ad had to be reviewed before it could be published because these phrases are often used by companies trying to sell counterfeiting goods on the Internet. Of course our ads were approved which shows that the system works.

We look forward to seeing what else Google will come up with to help the worldwide anti-counterfeiting effort.
