The next generation barcode:

• Can be a linear or 2D barcode.

• Can be an visible or invisible barcode.

The next generation of barcodes can be applied by any conventional printing process. 

InkSure's barcode technology is designed to be used in conjunction with InkSure's ScanSure, a portable barcode reader. ScanSure analyzes the information in the visible/invisible barcode and taggant in order to determine if an item is:

• Genuine or counterfeit
• Diverted
• Produced by "third shift" counterfeit production
• Expired
