Since we started The Anti-Counterfeiting Blog we have been warning that the general public is not aware of the prevalence and dangers of counterfeit goods. It looks like that might be changing, at least in part.

60 Minutes recently produced a story about fake drugs and showed how counterfeit pharmaceuticals are made and how they get into the supply chain in front of a mainstream audience.

It is great that pharmaceutical anti-counterfeiting is getting more attention, but 60 minutes is only seen by a small portion of the general population. Maybe this is the beginning of something big, we will have to see.
