InkSure just launched CarSure, a new forensic-level reader that can read taggants and authenticate documents through glass.

So why is this a big deal? Many governments require important documents to be affixed to the inside of a car windshield (windscreen). While most citizens are happy to take their car in for inspection and pay other necessary fees, there are always some that won't or don't want to.  The ones that don't fulfill their obligations can create look-alike documents and put those inside the car.

This is extremely unfair to the law-abiding citizens that get the necessary documentation for their car. 1) It makes their monetary burden higher than it needs to be. 2) Unregistered and checked vehicles on the road put all motorists in danger.

Who are these people trying to get out of paying legal fees? They are criminals who want to stay out of sight of legal authorities and serious tax evaders, not exactly the height of society.
